Founding - The society was formed in 1998 as a California public benefit nonprofit corporation. It is governed by a board of directors elected annually by members.

Membership - Membership is open to all who support the purpose and goals of the society. See Membership and Donations.

Meetings - General membership meetings are 7 p.m. on the third Monday of each month in the Bohannon Room of the San Lorenzo Village Homes Association hall, 777 Paseo Grande, San Lorenzo. (The hall is near the intersection with Hesperian Blvd., and is in front of the San Lorenzo Library.) Minutes of past meetings are available to all members.
